Exceeded expectations! Hotel room was large - it was a suite with 2 bedrooms (3 full sized beds), a bathroom with separate sink area, and living room with a large table for 4 people that we constantly gathered around. Upon arrival, there was a curb space where we could park and Jose Ramon, a parking vendor, and bellhop received us. They took care of the vehicle and helped with luggage. My mom needed a bit of help up the stairs - while there was no visible elevator on the first floor, the staff took us to the "secret" elevator in the tunnel. There was always two staff members at the front desk and a bellhop on hand as well as extremely helpful staff throughout the hotel. Hotel was conveniently located in the center of the city - a 1-2 minute walk from the basilica.

We loved this hotel. It's a beautiful building with great interior design. It's a bit like a maze so it's easy to get a little lost, but we didn't mind because it was so lovely to walk around in. On one floor there is a giant tree that grows in the hotel, and out through the roof. So cool! And we loved brining a drink up to the rooftop terrace which had lovely views. Our room was also great. Comfortable beds and it was large. We upgraded to a suite so it had two separate bedrooms and a sitting room, which was lovely. Since the town is small you can walk everywhere and the hotel had was situated perfectly for that. Everything was close. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again should I return to Guanajuato.

The staff were very friendly! Room was spotless and roomy. The location was perfect. Very close to all of the action but the noise level was fine for such a festive city. Communal spaces were beautiful. Loved the early mornings on the rooftop patio. I also liked that they asked guests to conserve water. I like when hotels give the option of reusing towels instead of changing them out daily. That would also help with water conservation. Some people don't realize that MX is have a water crisis.
